Digitizing

Digitizing is the process of converting your logo or design (on paper) to a digitized machine embroidery stitch file that can be sewn out by a computerized embroidery machine. The digitizer uses software expressly for this purpose, defining data sets and codes that tell the machine where to put the stitches. Digitizing is an artistic blend of creativity and technical know-how.

Quotes are always FREE and you never pay more than the quoted amount. Please provide us with crisp, clean artwork and any instructions or specifics should be in writing acommpanying the artwork. Art formats accepted include the following: eps, ai, pcx, cdr, psd, pdf, jpg, bmp, tif, & gif.

General Guidelines:

• .24" is generally the smallest text that will sew cleanly (cap block)
• There is only 1-1.25" height of sewing space on a visor
• Cap logo height is about 2.25"...width is usually about 4 - 4.5"
• Most left chest size designs are 3" - 4" wide
• Cap backs have about 3.5" wide text space and are usually arched for a pleasing appearance
